Our big trap is eating out. After a long day at work for both of us and dealing with arguing and hungry kids, we often choose to grab dinner out. While we do make good choices and do all the right things to keep the bill down, just the same it does add up. Therefore, my resolution for the new year is to reduce our eating out to one time a week. We'll see how we do.
Money is an emotional thing. In itself, it is just pieces of paper that we trade with others for things. It has no feelings, but we sure do. In our hearts, it holds our self-worth, our security, and our future. Join me on my journey to reduce money's relevance in my life and make our world a better place for my children and yours.

Becoming Thrifty at years end
This year has been hard on all of us. In our family of four, we have suffered financially just as many others have. We are thankful to have jobs and a roof over our heads. We work to stay still and not lose ground, however like all forts, ours has cracks in its foundation. Just like many others we fall victim to some of the same financial traps that we have hit many years.
