Money is an emotional thing. In itself, it is just pieces of paper that we trade with others for things. It has no feelings, but we sure do. In our hearts, it holds our self-worth, our security, and our future. Join me on my journey to reduce money's relevance in my life and make our world a better place for my children and yours.

Farmer's Markets
In greater Atlanta we have great resources for saving money. One of these is the DeKalb Farmers Market. It's a great place to find all kinds of fresh and ethnic foods for a great price. It is also a great place to find spices inexpensively. It's a great place to people watch as both the staff and the customers are from all over the world.
Our sisters were in from out of town so we made the trek to the farmers market which is on the other side of the city. They have lots of great deals and it was a fun day. I went a little overboard and bought four huge containers of loose tea to try, 12 containers of spices, sun dried tomatoes, a pound plus some of turbinado sugar, steel cut oats, dried apples, dried apricots, a bunch of fruit and some other stuff that should have made the bill high as a kite. It was well worth the drive.
Spent $53.08
